Poised to become Parramatta’s tallest building, the 70-storey build-to-rent tower on Valentine Avenue, designed by Buchan in collaboration with Furtado Sullivan, redefines high-density living with a vision inspired by nature, human connection, and cultural grounding.
Situated on a constrained triangular site, the tower’s elegant form responds directly to its urban context. Its signature feature, a vertical green spine, introduces shared outdoor spaces, natural ventilation, and a distinctive architectural identity.
Rather than relying on conventional balconies, the tower incorporates communal voids, mature planting, and programmable gathering spaces along the green spine. This fosters social engagement among residents and strengthens the sense of community throughout the building enhancing the overall experience of place.
The design is guided by Connecting with Country principles and informed by Burramattagal cultural knowledge, weaving together story, landscape, and built form into a vertical village grounded in place and collective memory.
The development includes 700 apartments. The podium accommodates two-level, dual-aspect and studio dwellings, while the tower above offers a diverse mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. A flexible planning grid allows for future reconfiguration in response to shifting market needs.
Resident amenities include lounges, a rooftop sky garden with pool, gym, wellness spaces, and an outdoor yoga area offering daily access to health, wellbeing, and community high above the city.
