Melbourne Walk has been shortlisted for the 2026 The Urban Developer Awards for Industry Excellence, Mixed-Use category.

The first new development in Bourke Street Mall for over 50 years, Melbourne Walk is a celebration of the city’s rich and unique identity, and the centrepiece of its revitalisation.

The landmark inner-city site unites a collection of eight buildings with four heritage-listed façades. From the urban scale to interior detailing, Buchan has woven a distinctly Melbourne narrative through every aspect of the design, including 6,295sqm of retail and IHG’s first Australian dual-branded hotel.

Melbourne Walk is one of two Buchan projects shortlisted in the 2026 TUD Awards alongside Burnside Village.
