This week GURNER™ Group in partnership with Qualitas, revealed new plans for the $3.75B ultra luxury, mixed-use Jam Factory development in Melbourne.

As lead consultant, Buchan is proud to be collaborating with SOM and GURNER™ Design House on this bold evolution of the iconic site’s masterplan.

The updated plans will redefine the project to deliver an entirely new benchmark of global luxury, blending 800 ultra-premium residences with circa 20,000 sqm of luxury retail, commercial, and world-class hospitality experiences, alongside two world-renowned hotel brands on the historic 1.9-hectare site.

Anchored by sculptural towers, a reimagined Village Cinemas, and a sunlit public piazza, the design merges heritage character with contemporary urban living, restoring the Jam Factory as the cultural heart of Chapel Street.
