We are incredibly proud to announce Tulmur Place and Ipswich Library has won the 2021 UDIA Queensland Award for Excellence in Social and Community Infrastructure, recognising the project an ‘exceptional example of community infrastructure’.

Congratulations to the entire team behind this remarkable project. Buchan has worked closely with the Ipswich City Council and local community over many years to realise this City’s vision though the development.

“Ipswich City Council’s vision to transform this key location in the city’s CBD is proving catalytic. Formerly a deserted site in a prime location this is now a thriving centre supporting an urban marketplace, flanked by a new main library and a specifically designed innovative children’s library. This is a as a well-planned and cleverly designed public space that offers great connectivity to surrounding commercial and social opportunities.”
