Over three decades of industry experience Raylene’s career has evolved from draughtsperson to Principal at Buchan. With key drivers of open communication, positive relationships and problem solving, Raylene has cultivated high-trust teams who have performed the successful delivery of numerous projects across the retail, mixed-use, commercial and civic sectors.

An advocate for the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and Te Kahui Whaihanga NZIA graduate programme, Raylene is passionate about empowering the next generation of industry professionals. She actively mentors young team members, emphasising the mutual growth and learning that comes from both education and working experiences.
