Eaton Fair is set to become a one-of-a-kind destination for leisure and entertainment in regional Western Australia following the recent DA approval of the Stage 3 Extension.
Eaton Fair Shopping Centre is located two hours southeast of Perth in the Bunbury region. The original centre went through the second stage of extension around seven years ago and the centre is already the largest regional centre down south.
Buchan was appointed as the lead architect for the Stage 3 extension after being awarded the winning scheme through a competition in 2021.
The Stage 3 work consists of a 10,000sqm extension to the existing retail centre, an external entertainment precinct, including 8-screen cinema complex, and two residential blocks overlooking the Precinct.
The mixed-use project is set to be one-of-a-kind in regional Western Australia and become a true destination for leisure and entertainment for the southwest region.
The project has just gone through Schematic Design Stage and is aiming for opening early 2025.
