Designed by Buchan in collaboration with Queensland property company Stockwell and the Noosa Shire Council, the Noosa Civic Medihub will provide much-needed allied health services to the growing Noosa community.
Located within the Noosa Business Centre, the Medihub houses specialist health tenants, including cancer care, pathology, and specialist consulting suites, offering a centralised healthcare hub in the heart of Noosa.
The architecture reflects the sub-tropical vernacular and the outdoor lifestyle characteristic of southeast Queensland, with a focus on seamlessly integrating the space with the surrounding established retail and business centre and community.
The Medihub prioritises open-air verandas for circulation, taking advantage of Noosa’s mild climate. The use of timber, light colours, and a blend of soft and hard landscaping throughout the facility creates a welcoming, human-scale environment.
As communities expand, property companies are recognising the importance of designing healthcare facilities that integrate seamlessly into mixed-use developments.
The Noosa Civic Medihub responds to modern healthcare demands, while aligning with community-focused urban design principles.
