This recipe almost produces the same the fat) result, however can be done in 4 hours in the oven.3/4 cup your favourite smokey BBQ sauce Preheat oven to 150 C.1/4cup soy sauce Apply rub to all sides of brisket.1/4cup your favourite BBQ rub In a bowl mix together BBQ sauce, soy sauce and 1 cup water water.Place a piece of aluminium foil large enough to completely wrap the brisket in a roasting pan. Add the brisket fat side up and pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the brisket. Wrap the brisket in the foil so it is fully sealed, cover it with more foil, if needed.Roast for 3 hours for a 1.5kg brisket. Add 1 more hour for every additional 0.5kg.Remove from oven and rest for 30 minutes before slicing.
